Up-cycle Baby Food Jars

Ever wonder how you could reuse all those baby food jars?

All I did was wash them up and apply rub on transfers and... ta-da! Romantic tea lights!

I linked this up to The Shabby Nest.

Such a cute idea...I'm g oing to do this!
Love it! I'm upcycling them for my son's party next week - I just hot-glued a strip of ribbon around the outside. Yours are adorable!
what a cute idea! I recycled my last stash by donating them to my daughters daycare - only because my husband kept well you know *complaining* about the box in the basement. Wish I had them now-- cute craft idea!
This is a cute idea! I also have a bunch of the rectangular plastic gerber containers from when we were living out of the TLF. Right now they are the perfect size for snacks and for other little trickets, but other than that I don't have any idea what to do with them. Do you have any creative suggestions?

Thanks Erin! I have a few of those plastic ones too. I have thought about using them to grow my garden and flower starts in. Maybe freeze homemade baby food and sauces. I also use them as paint trays. I dont know if you paint but Christian will someday! You could keep crafts, sewing notions, and things like nails organized in then. I also saved my formula plastic tubs for this use too (towards the end of his first year I had to supplement with formula).
Very Cute!

Found you through the Shabby Nest.
I have tons of these saved up. I will have to try using my rub-ons on them. Thanks!
Genius! I usually just re-use them with home-made food, but they're stacking up! Thanks!
No waaaaay! I reuse baby jars TOO. Although I painted mine and stuff--they were no where NEAR as cute as yours. So creative girly!

Have a wonderful weekend. Love, Laura

Well, I LOVE the baby food jar idea. I'm totally going to do this with the ones I have kicking around still. I think I found you at the Trendy Treehouse... I'm so not sure anymore... been through a lot of blogs today. (smile) Cute stuff!

you never cease to amaze me! so simple, and yet somehow elegant...who knew reused jars could be so cute? someday...when i have a baby.... hahaha
another baby food jar user! Great minds you know...
With this idea alone, I've found you another follower. My best friend, Michelle, has heard me tease her for decades for saving baby jars that she never did anything with. Granted, she's the busiest and most involved mom in the world ... BUT ... I know she is going to just LOVE this idea. Best part is, obviously she's not alone on this one. Thanks, Emily!
Dear Finding My Aloha,
I am doing an ICT controlled assessment all on upcycling. For one task I have to produce a logo and I would like to use an image from your website on my logo. However the website does not state whether the image is subject to copyright so I ask if I may please use the image I wish to.
I would appreciate it if you respond soon my email address is attached.
Yours Sincerely,
Aksa
Such a great idea! I am going to feature this on SomewhatSimple.com tonight!
Thanks for the inspiration,
Steph
