Dear readers...

I am so irritated right now! I just found out that my commenting system was spamming a good chunk of everyones comments for the past 11 weeks! I had all these messages from friends and new followers, and even awards and features that I was completely unaware of.

I am so sorry! I had no idea. You all go to the trouble to read what I have to say and are kind enough to leave me a note but then your comment never registers. Boo! I really do try to respond to your comments but I had no idea about this problem.

If you happened to be one of the "slighted," I hope you forgive me :) I think the problem has been resolved. If you notice it not working, please email me so I can look into it.

I have been so busy with projects and new recipes. I am excited to start posting them! I hope you all have a great weekend! We are headed to Leavenworth. Leavenworth, Washington that is. It is a Bavarian village in the Cascade Mountains and one of our favorite getaways. This weekend is Oktoberfest and I hope to get some great photos to share with you from the festival.

Oh how frustrating to hear, I've had tons of problems with Blogger lately (I get so many error messages) that I will need to get a computer doctor checkup this weekend. Hope it gets resolved and your weekend goes well :)

When you go to Leavenworth, drop by our site first to see what is happening in town. We've built a site with a whimsical tone from a tourist's point of view. We have a blog of our travels and things we've found there that we like.

Hi Scotte! Funny enough, I already checked your site last weekend. We originally tried to get to Leavenworth a week earlier but it happened to be the Autumn Leaf Festival and we couldnt get a room ANYWHERE! This last weekend being Oktoberfest made it even harder to find a hotel so we just decided to make the drive from Wenatchee. I love your site! I really like the lodging refferals. We had a great time! I had no idea how crazy Leavenworth could get!

I am a Leavenworth junkie year round! We are wine club members at Kestrel Vintners so we always have a good excuse to go pick up our shipments! ;) It is gorgeous up there right now! Cant beat Eastern WA weather right now. Hope you get to make it up there soon. I hope we get to go for the Lighting Festival before we make the big move to Alaska
