Free Custom Holiday Photo Card Designs- Limited

This year I decided to create our own Christmas card design. I had so much fun that I got swept away and created a couple extras. I have decided to offer these designs as my Christmas gift to you, my readers. I will customize the design of your choice with your photo and desired greeting for the first 12 people to respond.

To claim your cards, take a look at the designs and let me know your favorite in the comments. If you can't decide between a couple, I can personalize them and then you can decide. The first 12 commenters will be contacted with a request for your personalization details. Be sure to provide your email address in my commenting system. If you provide your email in the commenting system, you do not have to add it to the body of the comment. I will update this post once the quota has been met and they are no longer available. After which, all the designs will be available for a low price of $5 each in FMA's shop.

These cards are sized at 5x7" right now but I can resize to 4x6" if you desire. 4x6" will be considerably cheaper for you when you send them to be processed. I order mine through Costco's same day processing and 4x6" are 13 cents each, 5x7" are 39 cents each.

This giveaway is for a digital image file only. You can send the file to any photo processor to create your prints. You can buy envelopes at any office supply or craft stores (i.e. Michael's, JoAnn's).

Tons of FMA's Halloween Decor & Free Printables!

Hi y'all! I have been visiting family in Austin, Texas pretty much for the entire month of October. I brought my pictures with me so I could still be posting while I was here, however, I realized once I got here most of the images didn't transfer. :-( Oh well, bright side is I have them to share when I get back to Alaska. My son and I are having a great time and we have one more week left here. Since I have not been in my own home for the month leading up to Halloween, I haven't been doing any new Halloween decor or parties this year. Free Digital Print Art {seriously cool!}

Whew! I'm back. It's been pretty quiet on FMA lately. Well, that has a lot to do with the unfortunate fact that my beloved DSLR camera was stolen. Sigh. As if that wasn't devastating enough, my son dropped my iPad2 on our flight the next day and shattered the glass. Sigh. Thank the Lord we had the camera insured, but we found out that Apple Care doesn't cover the glass. Sigh. Anyway, I believe I should have a replacement camera this week. We had a Nikon D90 with a fantastic 18-300mm lens but I am thinking about parring back the lens a bit and so we can upgrade to the D7000. The 7000's outrageous ISO is sooooo enticing. Any thoughts on the matter fellow shutterbugs?

I am itching to get my hands on a camera so I can post the reveal of my bedroom dresser. Guys it turned out so AMAZING! I am in love with it. Love, love, love.

Though things may have been quiet on the blog, it has definitely not been quiet around here! I have lots of projects to show you. The inability to post has however has exploded my Pinterest addiction. I have been pinning away! Since, I haven't been able to show you the dresser yet, I have been plugging away at accessorizing it and the big blank wall behind it. I am in desperate need of some art! I have been pouring over art for weeks and I just stumbled across a couple of fabulous websites with libraries of free digital print art! This stuff is gorgeous!

I wanted to give my "chalet-chic" living room some character by hanging vintage ski posters and historic artwork or drawings. In my search of the perfect art, I stumbled across the U.S. Fish & Wildlife National Digital Library. The library is completely public domain! I feel like someone just gave me the keys to the Smithsonian. Last year, we didnt run out until about 9pm but even with all the decorations and porch lights turned off we still get some stray doorbells and knocks.
